CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Ray Texans are looking for a fresh start in 2024 as they hope to crack the top four in a tough district.
The Texans brought in coach Eric Martinez who used to be a Texans baseball assistant and most recently was Mathis's head baseball coach. Martinez is taking over a Texans team that is looking to build itself into playoff contention with some new faces, and new positions, after the graduation of star player Leah Cran, who is now off at Baylor.
The Texans are competing in the 29-5A North Zone with G-P, Miller and the Victoria schools.
