OMAHA, Neb. — The Texas A&M Aggies are headed to play for a national title after Calallen graduate Justin Lamkin helped lead them to a shutout of the Florida Gators 6-0 Wednesday night.
Lamkin threw five shutout innings and struck out nine batters. The former Wildcat has now thrown eight shutout innings total over two games against the Gators in Omaha.
#3 Texas A&M will face #1 Tennessee for the title in a best-of-three series beginning Saturday night at 6:30 PM.
