ROCKPORT, Texas — The City of Rockport has announced it is now under stage one water restrictions.
Those restrictions are in response to the combined lake storage levels of Lake Corpus Christi and Choke Canyon dropping to 40-percent capacity.
Anyone caught not following these rules could be given a ticket. Property owners who use water wells for irrigation are exempt from the restrictions.
