DPS: Driver's license offices across the state closed because of tech issues

According to Texas DPS, people with appointments were notified. At this point, they don't have an ETA of when systems will be back up.

HOUSTON — Heads up if you had an appointment at a Texas Driver’s License office today.  The Department of Public Safety says because of a technical glitch, all driver’s license offices are closed right now.

According to the Texas DPS, customers who did have appointments were notified. At this point, Texas DPS doesn’t have an estimate of when the offices will be back open, but they say they are actively working on a fix to get things back to normal.
