CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Drivers on Ocean Drive near Airline Road can expect some delays starting Monday as northbound traffic will be rerouted.
From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., northbound traffic on Ocean Drive will be temporarily detoured at the Airline Road intersection.
Using westbound Airline Road, drivers will be rerouted to Gaines Street then Robert Drive, where they will be able to get back on Ocean Drive.
This reroute will give road crews time to finish the final driving surface for the road's repair. Residents will still have routes to get to and from their homes.
Remember to plan ahead, and consider using alternate routes to save yourself some time. Work on the 'Revive the Drive' project is scheduled to be completed this summer.
