CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — While the 3NEWS Weather Team and chief meteorologist Alan Holt are hard at work tracking Hurricane Beryl, the Internet was hard at work, too -- making memes.
Self-proclaimed #HoltCult member Brigitte Rox Clayton was clearly inspired Wednesday afternoon while waiting for Alan and the weather team to relay National Hurricane Center updates and interpret the latest information on Beryl.
As we all wait to see whether the season's second -- and strongest -- storm makes its way toward the Coastal Bend, residents are dealing with the stress in different ways.
Some are calming their nerves by asking questions, while others are making us -- including Alan -- laugh.
Clayton understood the assignment, posting at least three memes.
She drew inspiration from the "It's Always Sunny . . ." Pepe Silvia meme.
It wouldn't be hurricane season unless this old flame made an appearance.
While the Bern was a little different for others.
Hurricanes are serious scenarios, that can put even the best detectives -- weather or otherwise -- on edge. So let's make a deal: While Alan, Carly, Kristin and Faith keep storm sleuthing, y'all keep the memes coming.
