CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — As Beryl approaches the Coastal Bend, facilities are making changes to their schedules to ensure safety. Stay with this story for updates on additional closures.
Medical
- ER 24/7 Rockport: (400 Enterprise Blvd, Rockport) closed Sunday, reopens Monday
- ER 24/7 Northwest: (13725 Northwest Blvd, Corpus Christi) resumes normal operations at 6 p.m. Sunday
- ER 24/7 Portland: (1702 Highway 181 North, Suite A-11, Portland) closed Sunday, reopens Monday
- Driscoll Children’s Hospital: The hospital will maintain mostly normal hours on Monday. Clinics in Corpus Christi and Victoria for Monday are cancelled. Driscoll Quick Care locations (Saratoga and Morgan) are currently open. Elective Surgeries for Monday are cancelled.
- VA Clinics: The Corpus Christi VA Specialty Clinic, Corpus Christi VA West Point Outpatient Clinic and Corpus Christi VA Clinic-Mental Health will be closed Monday.
Schools
Summer classes canceled; all offices closed Monday.
- Alice ISD: Alice ISD will not have any ACE programs on Monday,
- Aransas Pass ISD: Closed Monday and Tuesday.
- Banquete ISD: Closed Monday and Tuesday.
- Calallen ISD: Closed Monday.
- CCISD: Closed Monday. There will be no summer meals program.
- Gregory-Portland ISD: All student activities are canceled for Monday.
- Ingleside ISD: Closed Monday and possibly Tuesday.
- Kingsville ISD: KISD offices will be closed on Monday.
- Mathis ISD:
- Odem-Edroy ISD: Closed Monday and Tuesday
- Port Aransas ISD: Closed Monday and Tuesday
- Premont ISD: Closed on Monday, currently open on Tuesday.
- Refugio ISD: Closed Monday.

- Santa Gertrudis ISD: Closed Monday.
- Schools of Science and Technology: All four SST campuses will be closed Monday

- West Oso ISD: All student activities are canceled for Monday.
Colleges and universities
- Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend: Closed Monday
- Del Mar College: Closed Monday
- Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi: Remote Monday. Offices open, but remote classes Tuesday. Regular staff and student operations Wednesday.
- Texas A&M University- Kingsville: Closed Monday
Transportation
- Port Aransas ferry: Operations suspended at noon Sunday.
- CCRTA: North Beach and Port Aransas bus routes will undergo the following changes:
The following routes will be out of service on Monday due to forecasted weather conditions in Port Aransas:
- Route 65 (Padre Island Connection)
- Route 90 (Flexi-B)
- Route 94 (Port Aransas Shuttle)
- Route 95 (Port Aransas Express)
Routes 50, 51, & 83
The following routes will not be in service on Monday
- Route 50 (Calallen/Robstown NAS-CC Express)
- Route 51 (Gregory NAS-CC Express)
- Route 83 (Advanced Industries)
Route 3 (NAS Shuttle) will remain on regular schedule
Service Adjustments
The following routes will operate until noon, with weather conditions being monitored and services being suspended if required:
- Route 54 (Gregory/Downtown Express)
- Route 76 (Harbor Bridge Shuttle)
- Route 78 (North Beach)
Military Bases and Government Offices
- NAS Kingsville: NAS Kingsville will be closed effective at noon Sunday. Only mission essential personnel will be allowed on base. All other inbound and outbound traffic will be secured at noon Sunday. Access for mission essential personnel on Monday will be from 6:30 a.m.-8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.- 6 p.m.
- DPS Driver License Office: Due to the arrival of Hurricane Beryl, the following South Texas Region Driver License Offices will be closed on Monday: Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg. Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio
Entertainment
- Aransas Wildlife Refuge: Closed Sunday until further notice
- Art Museum of South Texas: Closed Sunday and Monday.
- Horace Caldwell Pier and I.B. Magee Beach: Closed as of noon Saturday.
- USS Lexington Museum by the Bay: Closed Sunday and re-opening at noon Monday.
- Texas State Aquarium: Closed Sunday and re-opens Monday
- Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History: Closed Sunday and Monday
- Art Museum of South Texas: Closed Sunday and Monday
- Museum of Asian Cultures: Closed Sunday
- South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center: Closed Sunday and Monday
- Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department: Pools and splash pads to close at 5 p.m. on Sunday and reopen on Monday. The After Hour Kid Power Summer Camp is closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday
