CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Ramón Ayala announced the cancellation of his upcoming farewell "El Principio de un Final" tour, which was scheduled to stop at the American Bank Center on Sept. 28.
In a Spanish-language post to his Facebook page, the 78-year-old "El Rey del Acordeón" addressed his fans, saying
"Valued fans, businessmen and the general public, for reasons that are out of our hands, all of the previously announced shows are cancelled.
We regret the inconvenience, and at the same time, are working hard to re-schedule our "El Principio de un Final" 2024 tour.
We will make known the new venues and dates exclusively on our social media channels.
We appreciate in advance your understanding and we'll be seeing you soon."
