CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A power outage in the Bee County area that affected about 7,400 people and delayed Beeville ISD classes has been resolved.
Bee County Emergency Management Director Ryan Garza told 3NEWS at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday that everything was back online, and that his office hadn't heard of any other residents or businesses being affected.
AEP-Texas said Wednesday morning that a transmission outage at the Beeville substation caused the area's lack of electricity, and crews were dispatched to fix the problem.
