CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Friday about 30 cadets who were sworn in as part of the 83rd academy graduating class for the Corpus Christi Police Department.
The new officers took an oath that bares a heavy weight, to ensure the safety of others and to promise to serve.
The ceremony took place at the Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi Performing Arts Center.
