Abbott to make Corpus Christi appearance Thursday

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Gov. Greg Abbott will be in Corpus Christi on Thursday to speak at the South Texas Property Rights Association's annual meeting at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel.

He will be joined by State Rep. Todd Hunter, J.M. Lozano, Nueces County Sherriff J.C. Hooper and Brooks County Sheriff Urbino "Benny" Martinez. His scheduled speech will discuss Texas border security. 

Hunter and Lozano are up for election Nov. 5.
