CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Tuesday morning just after 6 a.m., roughly 1,000 Bishop residents lost power, according to Omar Lopez with AEP.
Patrollers reportedly found a line from Nueces County Co-Op had fallen onto an AEP line near County Road 87.
After making repairs, approximately 950 customers had their power restored by 7:35 a.m.
AEP estimates that their remaining customers with outages- about 45 households- will have their power restored by around 11 a.m., or until Nueces County Co-Op finishes the repair on their section of the power line.
