CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — After 47 years of hard work, dedication and what can only be described as a movement, Anne Wilson has retired from her career as a recruiter in the Coastal Bend.
Anne Wilson, also known as Shirley Murray, started working for a local recruiting agency here in 1977.
After three years, she went on to open the Wilson Group at Park Tower, located in uptown Corpus Christi.
Wilson sold the agency to Unique Employment Services in 2019, where she continued to use her talents.
"It's fun for me to not have a candidate and call and find one and make that match that with that company that they are happy," said Wilson. "And they thank me and thank me and thank me for years. That's the payoff!"
It might be the end of an era- but Miss Wilson says she'll stay busy.
We hear, she can't stay away from volunteer opportunities or her grandchildren's' sporting events.
From us here at 3NEWS, Congratulations to you Anne! Enjoy your well-earned retirement!
