CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Alice officials ended the city's Stage 2 water restrictions and have gone back to Stage 1 restrictions.
According to a news release issued Monday, the city was able to end Stage 2 restrictions because the water level at Lake Corpus Christi has stayed at, or above, 86 feet for the last seven days.
Stage 1 for the city of Alice means residents will be asked to voluntarily limit watering their lawns 6-8 a.m. or 8-10 p.m. on designated watering days.
Residents whose street addresses end in an even number can water on Sundays and Thursdays, while addresses ending in odd numbers can water on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
