St. Patrick's annual Halloween carnival ends at 9:30 pm Friday night

For 62 years now St. Patrick's Catholic School has been hosting a Halloween carnival for families and kids to head out and have some good Halloween fun.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — For 62 years now St. Patrick's Catholic School has been hosting a Halloween carnival for families and kids to head out and have some good Halloween fun.

The event of course has all the goodies from rides, to bumper cars, prizes, food, you'll find it at the school off of Alameda near the HEB.

3NEWS caught up with the principal of the school Evelyn Burton who said it's an honor to put the event on for families year after year, not just for them to have fun, but to learn what St. Patrick's School is all about.

"To be able to show the love and kindness throughout the community that will permeate and make better citizens throughout the world, especially the Corpus Christi community. I'm very proud to be a part of St. Patrick's," said Burton.

The event started at 5:30 Friday evening and will run through 9:30 Friday night.
