ARANSAS PASS, Texas — The case of a 13-year-old girl from Aransas Pass who went missing in 1989 has yet to be solved, but officers with the Aransas Pass Police Department said they are still searching for leads even 30 years later.

Elisa Roberson disappeared from an Aransas Pass neighborhood back on Aug. 6, 1989. She was last seen on the corner of Greenwood and South Whitney. A neighbor told police that they had spotted Roberson walking and stopped to talk with her.

According to investigators, the Roberson was on her way to meet a friend at the elementary school when she never showed up.

APPD Captain Kyle Rhodes hopes to one day solve Roberson's case by continuing to post information about it on the police department's social media pages asking for the public's help.
