CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The owners of new restaurant are putting the finishing touches on a new restaurant inside the Art Center of Corpus Christi.
Gallery 41 will have an outdoor patio along the Seawall, and it’s moving in on the heels of the art center's more than $2 million refresh.
"The building looks fantastic now, so we really do shout out the city of Corpus Christi for recognizing this important asset and gateway to our Downtown community," said Art Center of Corpus Christi Executive Director Dianna Bluntzer.
Guests who attended the Coastal Bend Food Bank and Art Center's "Souper Bowl" event Thursday got a special first-hand look at the new restaurant.
Restaurant manager Volkan Koc the addition has been a long time coming.
"We have been working on this very hard for a long time these days construction is really difficult to do," Koc said. "Finally, everything coming together has been really really rewarding so today we're really excited especially seeing people walk in. It just feels amazing."
He said in just a few weeks they will be fully open and ready for the community to see all of their hard work.
