CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Flowers came to life over at the Art Museum of South Texas Thursday night, as the theme of "Flora Fantasia" was in full bloom for the museum's annual ARTball fundraiser!
Museum officials said ARTball is their biggest, most important fundraising event of the year, crucial to bringing arts education programs and diverse exhibitions to our community.
Attendees got the chance to enjoy vibrant gardens, masterful botany, but most importantly, a night together supporting the museum.
"Thanks to the City of Corpus Christi for really supporting the arts and bringing things together like the Watergardens -- and a lot of attention has been paid to the SEA district down here -- so we've seen a lot of improvements from new hurricane windows installed in the art museum, as well as bigger names being brought into the exhibitions," AMST marketing coordinator Alexis Deleon said.
