BISHOP, Texas — The Bishop Police Department will continue their efforts to keep the roads safe from drunk drivers on Super Bowl Sunday.
Sunday night is expected to be one of the most dangerous days for drivers to hit the roadways.
Bishop officers will be on the lookout for drivers weaving in and out of traffic or showing any signs of intoxication.
According to TxDOT, someone is hurt or killed in a crash involving alcohol every 20 minutes in the state of Texas.
Bishop PD took to social media to remind drivers to have a plan to get home safely, saying that there is no excuse to drink and drive. The department posted a list of safety tips for Sunday's big game
