CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A blown transformer forced a temporary power outage at London ISD on Tuesday afternoon, however the power is now back on, said district public information officer Kim Womack on Tuesday afternoon.
Parents are not being asked to pick students.
"Our focus is making sure everyone is fed lunch," Womack said in an email to 3NEWS.
She also said reports of the outage causing dangerous traffic conditions in the area are inaccurate.
This is a developing story. 3NEWS will provide updates as they become available.
