CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An honored tradition is in the books, the Buc Days Children's Parade.
It featured floats and marchers from some of our area schools, youth organizations and non-profit groups.
The route began at Cooper's Alley and ended at Palo Alto Street!
Last year--the parade was canceled due to heavy rain.
A young baseball player at Universal Little League was excited to attend this year and spend time with everyone rain or shine.
"It gives us an opportunity to put us out there and know that we're here and that we get to show love and everything so it's pretty fun," said Nehemiah Soliz.
Following the conclusion of the parade, many students were presented awards on the rodeo dirt floor! This is just one of the many ways to recognize and congratulate all of the kids around the Corpus Christi area.
