CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There is something for everyone at Buc Days, and if you're like some of us, (ehhhrrmm, First Edition anchor Barbi Leo,) that something is the shops at Treasure Island!
First Edition reporter Madeline Salinas joined us with vendor Courtney Lev, who told us all about what you can expect to see at her all-natural dog treat business at the American Bank Center this weekend.
Bully Barz is a handmade dog treat one-stop shop where dog owners can find homemade jerky, cakes and balms, Kibble hydrate and CBD pooch products.
When asked how she got into making the dog treats, Lev simply said, "I have a lot of dogs."
Lev began her business in October and is already seeing crowds at her first Buc Days as an artisan vendor. She says she loves working every single day to make treats and balms that don't have harmful ingredients, or raw hide.
"I'm just happy being here."
While her first week of Buc Days has been pretty steady, the business owner said she loves meeting new dog owners and she is ready to see even bigger crowds this weekend.
