CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Even though the school year just ended, another round will start up before you know it.
With that, CCISD is hitting the ground running as they get ready for next year, and they need some help!
They are hosting not one, but two summer hiring events this month.
The first one will take place Wednesday and second one will be on June 19.
CCISD's chief human resources officer, Debbie Cruz says they are hiring for all positions, as each school year brings opportunities for more people to become a part of the school district family.
"We've also had a few promotional opportunities for our employees as well, internal promotion opportunities. So, there are some vacancies that we are still filling over the summer months and we are hiring and making offers every day."
Remember, it's not just teachers and coaches they're looking for, but also bus drivers, cafeteria workers, nurses and substitutes.
You can find the information on their website here.
The first event is happening Wednesday at Carroll High School from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
They will be conducting interviews on site.
