CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Funeral services for Officer Kyle Hicks will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 at the First Baptist Church located at 3115 Ocean Drive.
Corpus Christi Police Department announced the services on Facebook Tuesday afternoon. They said that while the public is welcomed to attend seating will be limited.
In their post CCPD said photography and video recording will not be allowed inside of the church.
Hicks' End of Watch was April 24, when he succumbed to injuries he sustained in the line of duty responding to a domestic disturbance in the early morning hours April 21.
Only 32 years old, he leaves behind a wife and four children.
As his last act of service Hicks donated his organs arriving in Dallas for the procedure on April 25.
On Monday, hundreds of community members gathered in blue for an Honor Run at Water's Edge Park to show support for Hicks' loved ones and all first responders who sacrifice their lives daily.
