CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It is looking a lot like Christmas for literature lovers at the Art Museum of South Texas.
They are celebrating the 14th anniversary of their Christmas Tree Forest with a Reading Wonderland Theme.
Thirty schools and organizations have set up thirty trees all themed like a popular children's books with a goal of celebrating the joy of reading and promoting critical thinking and creativity.
Community members are welcome to vote on their favorite tree, but museum officials say your choice will not be an easy one!
Alexis DeLeon, with the Art Museum said "I don't want to pick favorites, but I've definitely done a couple of googly eyes at some of them. there are some really impressive trees. I mean, the kids go all out. I'm excited to see the opening tomorrow."
The showcase opens Saturday.
Admission to the art museum is free all through November and December
Family day is coming up on Dec. 9th!
