CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coastal Bend Food Bank hosted their first food drive of the month at their new facility on Bear Lane.
Inflation has many families in our area leaning on the nonprofit for a little extra help. On Monday the food bank distributed 9,300 pounds of food to 277 families.
Executive Director Bea Hansen expects to help even more families this summer and says the food bank is already busier than ever before.
If you find yourself needing a little extra help their next distribution will be on Thursday.
