CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Therapy and counseling service are a resource that many families in the Coastal Bend can say are paramount to sustaining and improving mental health.
Unfortunately, some experts say that not all families can afford to get the help they need.
That's where Family Counseling Service comes in. The non-profit, which is part of this year's Day of Giving fundraiser, offers resources and assistance to those in need of mental health services-- even if they cannot afford it or don't have access to health insurance.
"The mission at Family Counseling Service is to strengthen children, individuals and families and in the Coastal Bend. We do that by providing mental health counseling."
