CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — District Attorney Sam Smith has decided not to run for reelection.
Instead, his Asst. District Attorney, Margie Flores will be taking over, as she's now the only candidate on the ballot.
Smith says he's "ready for retirement" and wanting to spend more time with his family.
