CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Over 1,000 children received Christmas gifts from the Duval County Sheriff's Office annual toy giveaway.
Students in kindergarten through third grade from the Benavides, Freer, Ramirez and San Diego school districts were able to pick up a present at the Wyatt Ranch, Tasajillo division near Realitos.
Santa even showed up in a Gulfstream jet while Mrs. Claus showed up to greet the children in a helicopter!
The Jim Wells County Sheriff along with the Alice Police Chief helped with the event.
