CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Flour Bluff area drivers are likely breathing a sigh of relief after the Flour Bluff Drive and Glenoak intersection reopened this week.
The popular crossing was closed last month while city crews worked to improve drainage along a region of the flood prone area.
Crews installed a new box culvert to help at least double the stormwater capacity of the former culvert.
The city's engineering services hopes the work will put an end to flooding problems in the area.
