CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Thursday, Flour Bluff ISD and the Corpus Christi Army Depot sealed the deal on a partnership that will allow high school students to learn a new trade through technology and STEAM.

With the hands-on learning and mentorship students are expected to be prepared for future careers in maintenance, aviation-engineering and other high-demand fields!

3NEWS caught up with Superintendent Chris Steinbruck who is ecstatic to be working with the depot that is the largest wing repair facility in the world.

"Getting to introduce them to all the opportunities within the aviation field, who wouldn't want to be able to do that? Who wouldn't want to partner with the leader of the largest rotary wing repair facility in the world with the Army Depot, to me its a no brainer, it makes perfect sense," Steinbruck said.
