CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Diesel spilled on the Harbor Bridge after the drive shaft came off of an 18-wheeler around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Crews with CCPD and CCFD say the big rig was driving on Highway 181 when the driving shaft came off the truck which punctured the fuel tank and spilled diesel fuel over the roadway.
Police officials said two other cars drove over that same shaft damaging them in the process.
A cleanup crew from Houston was sent down to help clear the highway.
No injuries were reported.
