Highway 281 in George West has reopened after an 18-wheeler rolled over early Friday morning.
Texas Department of Public Safety Public Information Sgt. Harold "Rob" Mallory said the accident happened after a semi-truck driver lost control of his vehicle at around 3 a.m., veered into another lane and a rolled over, spilling diesel onto the roadway.
TxDOT closed the road in order to clean up the spill, and traffic was diverted to FM 624.
