Kingsville Symphony Orchestra to honor military at upcoming show

Veterans and members of the military will have free admission to the Patriotic Celebration show on June 30 at 3 p.m.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Student and professional musicians will perform a musical celebration concert on June 30 to honor the spirit of service and independence in the United States.

The Patriotic Celebration show is a chance for the city of Kingsville to celebrate the Fourth of July this weekend. Audience members are encouraged to wear their ed, white, and blue.

We spoke with some of the players who make up the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra. They say they are ready to celebrate the Fourth with the city.

The community is invited to join the orchestra for an afternoon of 'patriotic spectaculars' that honor our military service members and families. Veterans and active military personnel are admitted free of charge.

The performance will be held in the Performance Hall at the Music Education Complex on the Texas A&M University-Kingsville campus.

Children 12 and under accompanied by an adult may attend free. All TAMUK students are admitted FREE with valid ID. $5 active military discount applies to all concerts; additionally, the Patriotic Concert is FREE to veterans and active military.
