CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The city is looking to hire 30 lifeguards to help keep our pools and beaches safe this season! They say it could be the perfect opportunity for high school students who are getting ready to leave the classroom behind for the summer.
Parks & Rec Aquatics Program Director Bonney Maurer says the department is looking for enthusiastic people with leadership and communication skills to join the team.
Director Robert Dodd spoke with 3NEWS Wednesday morning about the importance of lifeguards in our community and even announced that all lifeguard employees have received a raise this summer.
