ROCKPORT, Texas — Three county Fire Departments were called to the scene of a structure fire at approximately 6:50 a.m. at Southpointe Circle, according to Rockport Volunteer FD.
Upon arriving first to the location, Chief 1 was advised of smoke and flames that were coming from the roof.
Rockport Tower 1, Engine 1, 3, 4 and 5 responded to the house fire.
The fire is believed to be the result of a lightning strike.
