CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Hanukkah (also spelled Chanukah) begins Thursday night at sundown for eight consecutive days celebrating the Jewish faith.
Local rabbi and the director of the Chabad Coastal Bend, Rabbi Naftali Schmukler joined us on First Edition to educate us about the holiday and its traditions.
Schmukler welcomed everyone to the Chanukah Mega Car Parade and Grand Menorah Lighting at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Water's Edge Park to witness how the local Jewish community celebrates.
