CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A major early morning crash on Saturday shut down parts of US Highway 77 near Bishop.
Around 5 a.m., the Bishop Police Department and the Nueces County Sheriff's Office responded to a multi-vehicle accident, leaving debris and wreckage strewn across the highway between County Road 12 and Farm-to-Market Road 70.
No life-threatening injuries were reported.
DPS continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
