CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — (Clarification: The name of the complex that suffered fire damage is Lakewood Village Condominiums, not Hidden Cove Apartments. Hidden Cove is the name of a street near the building.)
A fire at the Lakewood Village Condominiums off of Airline has left one man in the hospital recovering from second-degree burns.
Chief Billy Belyeu said the fire broke out at around 12:30 p.m., causing significant damage to the complex. The man was taken to Bay Area Hospital where he is recovering.
