Mohammad Sahi dies from natural causes at Spohn Shoreline

You may remember back in September 2019 when Sahi was accused of killing his daughter and grandson at their home in King's Crossing.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a horrific murder that left a mother and son dead and one other son seriously hurt at their home in King's Crossing. Now, the Texas Rangers are investigating the death of the man accused of killing his own family members.

The Nueces County medical examiners office says 73-year-old Mohammad Sahi died on Sunday from natural causes. According to the Nueces County Sheriff J.C. Hooper, Sahi was in the hospital for medical issues. He says the Texas Rangers will investigate the death, because he was technically in the custody of Nueces County jail on criminal charges.

Sahi was accused of killing his 47-year-old daughter and 18-year-old grandson back in September of last year. He was also charged with assaulting his 21-year-old grandson as well. Shortly after his arrest, Sahi admitted to murdering his daughter and teen grandson, but entered a not guilty plea earlier this year.
