CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Victor Martinez was in court Friday morning accused of shooting 49-year-old Harold Dilger, who later died from his injuries, in May 2023.
In court Martinez's newly appointed lawyer asked Judge Bobby Galvan for a significant bond reduction from $1 million to $100,000. The request was denied.
The teen is accused of burglarizing Dilger's vehicle on Norvel Drive in the early hours of May 9 and shooting the 49-year-old when confronted.
Dilger died from his injuries a month later, upgrading Martinez's charges to capitol murder.
