CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Another Sunday, another chance to give back!
As a proud partner of the Coastal Bend Day of Giving fundraiser, KIII's Domingo Live is counting down the weeks until the Coastal Bend Community Foundation's biggest annual tradition rolls back around on Nov. 14, 2023.
For its 15th year, the Coastal Bend Day of Giving will raise money to help fund more than 60 local nonprofits that serve a vast array of causes and communities across the Coastal Bend.
KIII, a proud partner of the Day of Giving campaign, will feature a spotlight interview with a participating nonprofit every week on Domingo Live leading up to the day of the fundraiser.
Tennis Success' Cher-ri Peña joined us on Domingo Live to introduce our viewers to her organization, its mission and how folks can support it on Day of Giving.
Tennis Success is a mentorship and education organization that aims to help local at-risk youth grow into successful, healthy adults through their in-school and afterschool tennis programs.
Over 400 children across the Coastal Bend are active in Tennis Success' programs each year, all of whom have the opportunity to learn and practice tennis for free with all sports equipment and facilities supplied by Tennis Success.
Adults interested in learning more about enrolling their children in Tennis Success' programs can learn more about the registration process at the link here. Prospective volunteers, donors and sponsors can also learn more about getting involved with Tennis Success at the link here.
You can help support Tennis Success' mission and others across the Coastal Bend by donating online to the Coastal Bend Day of Giving fundraiser on Nov. 14 starting at 12 a.m. CST. Early donations will also be accepted during the fundraiser's Early Giving donation period from Nov. 6-13.
