CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Several police units were parked outside of the Guardian Funeral Home Tuesday morning, just hours before the Celebration of Life and funeral services for Officer Kyle Hicks are expected to begin later in the afternoon.
3News will be streaming parts of the services, including a 21-gun salute for the late officer as allowed throughout the day.
Police officers were seen lining up to leave the funeral home around 11:15 a.m. and are likely headed to the First Baptist Church located at 3115 Ocean Drive, where the memorial service will take place from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Members of the public will be allowed inside the church, but seating is limited.
