CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Portland held their 'Touch-A-Truck' event Tuesday at the Bell Whittington Library offering a fun opportunity for kids and parents this spring break.
The free event allowed children of all ages to explore the Portland fire trucks, police vehicles, construction equipment, Animal Care Services, just to name a few!
Kids were able to push the horns and buttons for hands-on experience and even have one-on-one conversations with the drivers and equipment operators as well.
Portland's next family fun event at the library will be an Easter egg hunt March 26 at 10 a.m.
