CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Roxanne Palacios who was arrested in November 2022 for a deadly wrong-way crash on the Harbor Bridge was in court Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing.
As they approach 30 days from Palacios' trial date, Judge David Klein scheduled the hearing for any evidence issues.
One that was found has since been resolved.
According to police Palacios was driving north in the southbound lanes of the Harbor Bridge when she crashed into Betsy Mandujano and Matthew Banda, killing them.
A third person was also seriously injured in the crash.
Police say on the night of the accident, Palacios had just left a company party where she had been drinking.
She faces two counts of felony intoxication manslaughter.
