CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Corpus Christi bus driver was cited for failing to maintain a single lane of travel, leading to an accident at the intersection of Port Avenue and Tarleton Street on Thursday morning.
The incident happened at 7:36 a.m. when the bus, travelling eastbound in the right lane on Tarleton moved left toward the center lane and hit a passenger car.
No injuries were reported, but the driver of another car involved in the accident took their two children to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.
CCPD said that there were 19 students on the bus, along with the driver and an adult monitor.
