CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Sinton community came together, Tuesday night, to celebrate National Night Out alongside officers who protect and serve them every day.
The block party was held right in front of the police department as they shut down part of the road for residents to gather for all kinds of fun. That included games, face painting and dinner right off the grill.
The night was all about unity, and for community leaders there, it was gratifying to see everyone come together in this way.
"It's one of those events that really strengthens community with our law enforcement," Chamber of Commerce President Estevan Guerra shared. "It's a great way to know the name behind the badge."
Guerra added that this is one of his favorite parts about his role in the Chamber of Commerce. He hopes to continue to see his community bring more events like this to life.
