CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It's the largest aquarium in Texas, and the only one from our state that is nominated for USA TODAY's 10 Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Aquarium in North America.
The Texas State Aquarium has been nominated for the award for the sixth consecutive year. The educational attraction announced via social media earlier this week that it was nearing the top five spots on the leader board for title but needs help from supporters in the Lone Star State.
The leader board is now closed as award organizers intend to announce the surprise winner on Wednesday, May 22.
"Every vote pushes us closer to the top," read the announcement.
You can vote once a day through Monday, May 13 at the link here.
