CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Coming up on Monday, folks in our area will be honoring veterans from all branches of the service.
Of course, one of the biggest gatherings will be the annual Veterans Ceremony over at Sherill Park, which will start at 10 a.m.
Several CCISD schools will also be hosting Veterans Day breakfasts with ceremonies throughout the morning.
- Veterans Memorial High School
- King High School
- Hamlin Middle School
- Baker Middle School
Another one of those big events is the Salute to Veterans' ceremony at 2 p.m. at the USS Lexington.
The Veterans Band will be aboard to play patriotic music along with the Miller NJROTC and Color Guard.
There will be free admission for veterans and active duty.
