CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Sarah Hoss, who is charged with intoxication manslaughter after allegedly driving the wrong way on the SPID feeder road in October 2022 was in court Thursday morning.
The crash happened near Waldron Road and killed 54-year-old Eutimio "Tim" Barrera.
She went before Judge Missy Medary for a pre-trial hearing. Hoss's defense team requested discovery from the state so they can review it, Judge Medary then ordered the state turn that in, in the following two weeks.
Hoss could face between two and 20 years in prison if convicted of the second-degree felony, and a fine up to $10,000.
The trial date is set for May 28.
